What is Section 8?

The Section 8 Program, officially named The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, is a housing assistance initiative financed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Directly enforced by relevant organs at the county level, the program is designed to provide low-income households with decent, safe and sanitary housing.
